It isn’t a diary, or a therapeutic journal – it’s a seedbed of fresh ideas, observations, inspirations and creative experiments out of which new writing projects can grow. And because it’s enjoyable, it’s an easy way to find and maintain your writing flow.
Get a gorgeous notebook – I recommend A4 unruled – some colouring pencils/crayons, a few different colour writing pens and a pritt stick, and save some old magazines.
